Tuning: G C E A
Song: Hotel California Artist: Eagles Tuning: Standard (GCEA) No Capo Hey guys, this version hasn't been posted but it sounds pretty good to me. Leave a comment regarding corrections and/or questions. Few things: FINGER PICKING This song could be played with a variation of finger picking and strumming, or strumming alone. I've included a simple finger picking pattern which sounds familiar to the solo in the original guitar version below for anyone interested. The pattern is pretty much the chords in the verses picked out. I usually finger pick the pattern twice as the intro and then I follow up with strumming the chords. STRUMMING & RHYTHM My strumming pattern for the Verse is D-D-U--U-D-U(2x per chords Bm, A, G, and Em) As for the chords Gb7, E7, and D I play D-D-U--U-D-U-D while allowing the string to ring on the last down.
