To sync your playlists, favorites, and songs between the website and mobile apps (iOS, Android), please ensure the following:

• Sign in with the same account across all your devices.
• Open the Profile section in the app or on the website.
• Make sure Synchronization is enabled.

Once synchronization is active, your playlists and song collections will automatically stay up to date everywhere. You can also trigger an immediate sync at any time using the SYNC NOW button in the main menu.

Note: Cloud synchronization is available with a PRO account.

You can easily categorize and quickly filter your favorite songs and personal song library using custom labels (tags).

Create custom labels (such as Acoustic, Live Set, or To Learn) and assign one or multiple labels to any song for fast access.

To manage or assign labels on the website, click the song options menu .

You can add custom notes to any song in your Favorites. Open the song menu and select Add Note.

You can sort your Favorites and My Songs lists alphabetically, by date added, or arrange them in your own custom order. Open the list menu to pick your preferred sort.
When Custom Sort is selected, you can easily reorder songs by dragging and dropping them into place.

You can create and store custom songs in the My Songs section whenever you are signed in. By default, newly created songs are private and visible only to you.

If you would like to share your chord sheet with the community and make it publicly searchable, click the Publish button. All submissions are reviewed by our team before going live (usually within a few days). You will receive an email notification as soon as your song is approved.

Regardless of which input format you use (Format 1 or Format 2), our engine will automatically format the song cleanly for playback and performance across both the website and mobile apps (as shown below). Placing chords directly above words gives you precise control over which syllable the chord change occurs on. You can also customize chord highlight colors in Settings.

Formatting Tips & Best Practices

• Preview & review: Always check how your song looks in the preview / performance screen to ensure chords and lyrics align as intended.
• Use spaces, never tabs: Tab widths vary across devices and text editors (e.g. 4 vs 8 spaces). Using regular spaces guarantees that fixed-width column alignment stays consistent everywhere.
• Keep line lengths compact: To prevent awkward line wrapping and ensure smooth auto-scrolling on phones and tablets, keep line lengths under 45–50 characters. This also leaves room to increase font size comfortably.
• Use blank lines between sections: Separate verses, choruses, and instrumental parts with an empty line. This helps our chord detector distinguish lyrics from chord annotations.
• Place chords directly above their lyrics: Do not leave blank lines between a chord line and its corresponding lyric line (unless it is an instrumental section with chords only).
