Blur is an English rock band formed in London in 1988. The group consists of Damon Albarn (vocals, keyboards), Graham Coxon (guitar), Alex James (bass), and Dave Rowntree (drums). They were a key part of the 1990s Britpop movement, known for their rivalry with Oasis. Blur's music blends alternative rock with pop, punk, and electronic influences. They gained fame with albums like Parklife (1994), which includes hits like “Girls & Boys” and “Parklife.” Later albums such as 13 (1999) and Think Tank (2003) showed a more experimental style. The band reunited in the 2010s and continues to release new music, including their 2023 album The Ballad of Darren.
