Hey! This is a good good song...
it goes..
Now mDany, many years ago Awhen I was twenty-three
I was married to a wiDdder who was pretty as can be
This widder had a groGwn up daughter who had hair of red
My Efather feAll in love with her and soon they too were wed.
This Dmade my dad my son-iAn-law and changed my very life
My daughter was my moDther for she was my father's wife
To complicate the matGter even though it brought me joy
I sEoon becamAe the father of a bouncing baby boy.
My liDttle baby then becamAe a brother-in-law to dad
And so became my unclDe though it made me very sad
For if he was my unclGe then that also made him brother
Of Ethe widdeAr's grown up daughter who of course was my step-mother.
FatheDr's wife then had a Ason who kept him on the run
And he became my granDdchild for he was my daughter's son
My wife is now my motGher's mother and it makes me blue
BecEause althAough she is my wife, she's my grandmother too.
Now iDf my wife is my granAdmother, then I'm her grandchild
And every time I thinDk of it, it nearly drives me wild
For now I have becomeG the strangest case you ever saw
As Ehusband oAf my grandmother, I am my own grandpa.
DI'm my oAwn grand-Dpa. GI'm my oG7wn grand-Apa.
It sDounds funny I know, bGut it really is so
Oh, DI'm myA own grandD-pa.
Enjoy!
