Mumford & Sons is a British folk rock band formed in London in 2007. The group originally consisted of Marcus Mumford (lead vocals, guitar, drums), Ben Lovett (keyboard), Winston Marshall (banjo, guitar), and Ted Dwane (bass). They became known for their energetic live shows and blend of folk, rock, and bluegrass influences. Their debut album, Sigh No More (2009), was a major success, featuring hits like “Little Lion Man” and “The Cave.” Their second album, Babel (2012), won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Over time, the band shifted towards a more electric and rock-oriented sound, especially with Wilder Mind (2015). In 2021, Winston Marshall left the band. Mumford & Sons continue to perform and evolve musically.
