TEARS OVER BEERS - MODERN BASEBALL Tabbed by: jamie mernick E-mail: mernickjamie@gmail.com Tuning:STANDARD I saw Modern Baseball live last weekend, and I fell in love with them in only a few short days. They opened with Tears Over Beers, so I searched for a tab and found mostly chords/tabs that looked similar to this; E-------------------------------|-------------------------------| B-------------------------------|-------------------------------| G-6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| D-6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| A-4---------4---------6---------|-5---------5---------4---------| E-------------------------------|-------------------------------| When I was just a boy, we'll call it 15 or so E-------------------------------|-------------------------------| B-------------------------------|-------------------------------| G-6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| D-6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| A-4---------4---------6---------|-5---------5---------4---------| E-------------------------------|-------------------------------| I found myself annoyed by a syndrome of sorts in my bones It also turns out that this is how the lead singer plays while he is singing. However, I was having trouble hitting the notes with my voice, so I wrote a tab that made it easier to find your correct pitches. This tab also sounds more melodic and pleasing to the ear- especially if you're playing alone. I have tabbed the intro, and wrote the chords and lyrics for the rest of the song. I will refer to the chords by their bass note, as the main notes (G#+C#) do not change for the majority of the song. C# x466xx D x566xx D# x666xx F x866xx F# x966xx F#* 2x66xx -- if you cannot reach this, you can just play x966xx or whatever sounds good to you. E--------------------|-------------------------------| B--------------------|-------------------------------| G----6-----6------6--|-6---------6---------6---------| D----6-----6------6--|-6---------6---------6---------| A----4-----4------6--|-6---------5---------4---------| E--------------------|-------------------------------| When I was just a boy, we'll call it 15 or so E--------------------------------|-------------------------------| B--------------------------------|-------------------------------| G--6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| D--6---------6---------6---------|-6---------6---------6---------| A--4---------6---------8---------|-9---------8---------4---------| E--------------------------------|-------------------------------| I found myself annoyed by a syndrome of sorts in my bones E----------------------------------|---------------------------------| B----------------------------------|---------------------------------| G----6---------6---------6---------|----6----------6-------6---------| D----6---------6---------6---------|----6----------6-------6---------| A----4---------6---------8---------|----9----------8-------4---------| E----------------------------------|---------------------------------| That girl who's next to me she found herself bored to tears E--------------------------------|------------------------------------| B--------------------------------|------------------------------------| G--6---------6---------6---------|----6-----------6---------6---------| D--6---------6---------6---------|----6-----------6---------6---------| A--4---------6---------8---------|----5-----------5---------4---------| E--------------------------------|------------------------------------| She realized if she wants conversation, she's out of luck for three more years

Thanks, please email me for suggestions/any notes I should take for future tabs, seeing as this was my first guitar tab.
