BmThrough mostly vacant streets a F#mBaker from the outskirts of his Atown
earned his living peddling Esweets from a ragged cart he dragged Bmaround.
The clever Fox crept close behind, kF#mept an ever watchful Aeye
for a chance to steal a ginger Espicecake or a boysenberry Bmpie.
BmLooking down was the hungry Crow: WF#mhen the time is right I'll Astrike
and condescend to the Eearth below and take whichever treat I Bmlike!
The moment the Baker turned around to F#mshoo the Fox off from his Acart,
the Crow swooped down and snatched a Eshortbread cookie and a German chocolate Atart.
AUsing most unfriendly Ewords that the village children had not yet Dheard,
the Baker shouted threats by ECanzonet to curse the crafty Abird:
You rotten wooden mixing Espoon! Why, you midnight winged Draccoon!
You'd better bring those pastries Eback, you no good, burnt-black-maAcaroon!!!
BmThe Fox approached the tree F#mwhere the bird was perched, delighted, in his Anest:
Brother Crow, don't you remember Eme? It's your old friend Fox with a humble Bmrequest.
If you could share just a modest piece, F#mseeing as I distracted that awful Aman...
This failed to persuade the Crow in the Eleast, so the Fox rethought his Bmplan:
BmThen, if your lovely song would grace my F#mears, or, to even hear you Aspeak
would ease my pains and Efears. The Crow looked down with the candy in his Bmbeak.
Your poems of wisdom, my Good F#mCrow, what a paradise they Abring!
This flattery pleased the proud bird Eso he opened his mouth and began to sAing:
AYour subtle acclamation's Etrue, best to give praise where praise is Ddue.
Every rook and jay in the Ecorvidae has been Raven about me Atoo!
They admire me, one and Eall, must be the passion in my D'Caw',
my slender bill, known through Ethe escadrille, my fierce, commanding Aclaw...

AAh, I've got a walnut-brownie-Ebrain and molasses in my Dveins,
crushed graham cracker crust, my Epowdered sugar funnelcake Acocaine.
Let the crescent cookie Erise! These carob-colored Almond Deyes
would rest to see my cashew Eprincess in the swirling marble Asky.
We'll rest upon the Eknee where all divisions cease to Dbe
and rootbeer float in our Ebanana boat across the tapioca Asea.
When letting all attachments Ego is the only prayer we Dknow.
May it be so, may it be Eso, may it be so, Aoh...
