Holes to heaven
Written by Jack Johnson
This is a mixture of a whole lot of average tabs. I think that this is better than them all... enjoy!!
The verse can be played using the riff or the chords...it sounds much better with two
each playing it differently...but try playing the riff three times and instead of hitting
last E, play Em chord.
Verse/main riff
e--------------------------|
B--------------------------|
G--------------------------|
D--------------------------|
A-----------0--------------|
E--3-3-3-2---3-2-0---------|
Intro G x 4 or play the riff three times and then end on Em as done for the verse
GThe airD was more than human
GAnd theD heat was more than hungry
G D Em (or Em7)
And the cars were square and spitting diesel fumes
GThe boaDrs were running wild
GBecause theDy're big and mean and sacred
G D Em/7
And the children playing cricket with no shoes
BmThat morning we woke up man
BmTo a seven-hour drive
CWell there we were stuck in port blair
CWhere boats breaC7k and children stare
GAnd there were so many fDewer questions
EmWhen stars were Bmstill just the holes to CheavAmen, mmm
GMan and there were so maDny fewer questions
EmWhen stars wereBm still just the holes toC heaven,Am mmm...
The rest is just different words but the same chords and all that... hope this helps you
a little bit...dont get grumpy if it dont-its my first tab, but please rate it xox
