recording I've heard.
Dear CSir I write this note to you to tGell you of my plCight
For Fat the time of wriCting it, IG'm not a pretty sight
My bFody is all bClack and blue, my fFace a deathly grAmey
And I wrCite this note to say why I am nGot at work toCday
While woCrking on the fourteenth floor some brGicks I had to clCear
But toFssing them down from sCuch a height wGas not a good idea
The forFeman wasn't vCery pleased, he Fis an awkward Amsod
And he saCid I had to cart them down the laGdders in me hCod
Well cleCaring all these bricks by hand, it wGas so very sClow
So I hoisFted up a baCrrel and seGcured a rope below
But Fin me haste to dCo the job, I wFas too blind to Amsee
That a baCrrel full of building bricks was heGavier than Cme
And sCo when I untied the rope the baGrrel fell like lCead
And cliFnging tightly Cto the rope, I staGrted up instead
I shoFt up like a rCocket, and to Fmy dismay I fAmound
That haClfway up I met the bloody baGrrel coming dCown
Well the baCrrel broke me shoulder, as Gto the ground it sCped
And wFhen I reached the Ctop I banged the puGlley with me head
But I cFlung on tightly nuCmb with shock from tFhis almighty bAmlow
While the baCrrel spilled out half its bricks some fourGteen floors belCow
CWhen these bricks had fallen from the baGrrel to the flCoor
I thFen outweighed the baCrrel and so staGrted down once more
But I clFung on tightly to tChe rope me bFody racked with pAmain
And haClfway down I met the bloody bGarrel once aCgain
Now the foCrce of this collision halfway doGwn the office bloCck
CaFused multiple abrCasions and a nasGty case of shock
But I clFung on tightly to tChe rope as I fFell towards the groAmund
And I laCnded on the broken bricks the baGrrel had scattered roCund.
Now Cas I lay there on the ground I thoGught I'd passed the wCorst
But the baFrrel hit the puClley wheel and thGen the bottom burst
A shFower of bricks rained doCwn on me I dFidn't have a hAmope
As I lCay there bleeding on the ground I let Ggo of the bloody ropeC
The baCrrel now being heavier so staGrted down once mCore
It laFnded right acrCoss me as I lGay there on the floor
It bFroke three ribs and mCy left arm and FI can only sAmay
I hCope you`ll understand why I am nGot at work tCoday
