GDear Sir I write this note to yoDu to tell you of my plGight
CFor at the time of writing it I'mG not a pretty sDight
CMy body is all bGlack and blue, my fDace a deathly grCey
And I wrGite this note to sCay why I am nDot at work toGday
GWhile working on the fourteenth floor some brDicks I had to clGear
CBut tossing them down from sGuch a height was nDot a good idea
The forCeman wasn't vGery pleased he iDs an arkward sCod
And he saGid I had to cCart them down the laDdders in me hGod
GWell clearing all these bricks by hand it wDas so very slGow
So I hoisCted up a barrel and Gsecured a rope beDlow
But in Cme haste to Gdo the job, I was Dto blind to sCee
That a baGrrel full of buiClding bricks was heaDvier than Gme
GAnd so when I untied the rope the baDrrel fell like lGead
And cliCnging tightly to tGhe rope I started Dup instead
I shoCt up like a rGocket, and to my disDmay I fCound
That haGlfway up I mCet the bloody baDrrel coming dGown
GWell the barrel broke me shoulder Das to the ground it sGped
And wChen I reached the top GI banged the pulley wDith me head
But I cClung on tightly nuGmb with shock from tDhis almighty bClow
While the baGrrel spilled out hCalf it's bricks some fouDrteen floors beGlow
GWhen these bricks had fallen from the baDrrel to the flGoor
I thCen outweighed the baGrrel and so staDrted down once more
But I clCung on tightly to tGhe rope me bDody racked with pCain
And haGlfway down I Cmet the bloody baDrrel once agGain
GNow the force of this collision halfway dDown the office blGock
Caused mulCtiple abraGsions and a nastyD case of shock
But I clCung on tightly to tGhe rope as I fDell towards the groCund
And I laGnded on the brCoken bricks the baDrrel had scattered roGund.
GNow as I lay there on the ground I thought ID'd passed the woGrst
But the baCrrel hit the puGlley wheel and then tDhe bottom burst
A shCower of bricks raGined down on me I dDidn't have a hCope
As I lGay there bleeding oCn the ground I let go of tDhe bloody rGope
GThe barrel now being heavier so staDrted down once mGore
It laCnded right across mGe as I lay thDere on the floor
It bCroke three ribs aGnd my left arm aDnd I can only sCay
I hGope you`ll underCstand why I am nDot at work tGoday
