Capo: 3 Tuning:
Bob Dylan – Bob Dylan's Dream (The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan) Capo III I'm pretty sure these are the correct lyrics. I also tried to illustrate the elongated syllables and pauses. Because of this weird meter, I think it is actually rather hard to sing correctly. The A in the second line does'nt feel necessary to me, so check for yourselves if you need it or not. Since this is my first tab, please comment heavily.
While Eriding on a F#mtrain going west, ( A ) B I fell asleep for to take my rest, IiEiiii dreamed a dream that mAade me sEad, Concerning mysBelf ... and the fAirst few friends I hEad.
With hEalf damp eyes I stF#mared to the room, ( A ) B Where my friends and I spent many'n afternoon, WheeEeeeere we together weathered mAany a Estorm, Laughing and sBinging ... 'till the eAarly hours of theE morn.
By the Eold wooden stove where our F#mhats was hung, ( A ) B Our words was told, our songs was sung; WeeEeeee longed for nothing and werAe satisfEied, Joking and tBalking ... about thAeee wooorld outsEide.
With hEungry hearts through the F#mheat and cold, ( A ) B We never much thought we could get very old; WeeEeeee thought we could sit forAever in fEun, And our chances rBeally ... was a mAillion to oEne.
(HARMONICA PART)
As eEasy it was to tell bF#mlack from white, ( A ) B It was all that easy to tell wrong from right; An' our choEices they was few, so the thAought never hEit, That the one road we trBaveled ... woul'Aever shatter or spElit.
Ah mEany a year has pF#massed and gone, ( A ) B Many' gamble has been lost and won; And mEany a road taken by mAany a first frEiend, And each oBne ... I've nAever seen aEgain.
I wiEsh, I wish, I wish in F#mvain, ( A ) B That we could sit simply in that room again; TeeeEeeeen thousand dollars at the drAop of a haaEaaaat, I'd give it all glBadly ... if our lAives could be like tEhat.
