Travis is a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1990. The group consists of Fran Healy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Andy Dunlop (lead guitar), Dougie Payne (bass guitar), and Neil Primrose (drums). They rose to fame in the late 1990s with their breakthrough album The Man Who (1999), which included hits like "Why Does It Always Rain on Me?" and "Driftwood." Known for their melodic, introspective sound, Travis played a key role in paving the way for bands like Coldplay and Keane. Their music blends alternative rock with soft rock and Britpop influences. The band has received several awards and continues to release new music and tour internationally.
