The Wallflowers are an American rock band formed in 1989 by singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan, the son of legendary musician Bob Dylan. The band rose to fame in the mid-1990s with their critically acclaimed and commercially successful album Bringing Down the Horse (1996), which included hit singles like "One Headlight", "6th Avenue Heartache", and "The Difference." Their sound blends rock, folk, and Americana, and Jakob Dylan's introspective lyrics and raspy voice became the band's signature. Over the years, the lineup has changed, but Dylan has remained the central figure. The Wallflowers have released several albums, with Exit Wounds (2021) marking a well-received return after a long hiatus. They're known for thoughtful songwriting and a classic American rock style.
