The Growlers are an American band formed in Dana Point, California, in 2006. Known for their unique blend of surf rock, psychedelic rock, garage rock, and elements of pop, they coined their own genre called “Beach Goth.” Led by singer Brooks Nielsen, The Growlers have built a strong cult following thanks to their distinctive sound, gritty vocals, and energetic live performances.
