The Cranberries were an Irish rock band formed in Limerick in 1989. The group consisted of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler. They gained international fame in the 1990s with their debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, featuring hits like "Linger" and "Dreams". Their most iconic song, "Zombie", is a powerful protest anthem released in 1994. Known for their blend of alternative rock and Celtic influences, The Cranberries sold over 40 million records worldwide. The band went on hiatus in the 2000s but reunited later. Tragically, Dolores O'Riordan passed away in 2018, after which the band released a final album, In the End (2019), as a tribute.
