Sweet Trip is an American experimental pop and electronic music duo formed in the late 1990s, consisting of Valerie Cooper and Roberto Burgos. Known for blending shoegaze, IDM (intelligent dance music), glitch, and dream pop, their music is characterized by lush textures, intricate production, and emotional depth. Though initially under the radar, they gained a cult following over the years, especially for their 2003 album Velocity : Design : Comfort. Sweet Trip disbanded in 2022, leaving behind a distinct and influential legacy in the indie and electronic music scenes.
