Sugar was an American alternative rock band formed in 1992 by Bob Mould, former frontman of Hüsker Dü. Known for blending melodic pop sensibilities with powerful guitar-driven sound, Sugar gained critical acclaim in the early '90s. Their music featured emotionally resonant lyrics and dense, layered production. Though short-lived, the band made a lasting impact on the alternative rock scene before disbanding in 1996.
