Stray Cats are an American rockabilly band formed in 1979 in Massapequa, New York. Known for reviving the 1950s rockabilly sound in the 1980s, the band blends classic rock ānā roll with punk energy. The trio consists of Brian Setzer (vocals, guitar), Lee Rocker (bass), and Slim Jim Phantom (drums). With their retro style and energetic performances, they gained popularity in both the U.S. and the U.K., becoming key figures in the rockabilly revival movement.
