Steelheart is an American rock band formed in 1990, best known for their powerful vocals and melodic hard rock sound. Fronted by singer Miljenko Matijevic, whose impressive vocal range became their signature, the band gained fame with the hit "I'll Never Let You Go (Angel Eyes)" from their self-titled debut album. Though part of the glam metal scene, Steelheart stood out with more emotional depth and technical musicianship. Despite lineup changes and a serious onstage accident in 1992 that injured Matijevic, the band has continued to release music and tour, maintaining a loyal fanbase.
