Ronny and the Daytonas were an American surf rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1960s. Known for blending Southern rock and surf music, they brought a unique sound to the genre, combining catchy melodies with car and beach culture themes. The group was led by John "Bucky" Wilkin, whose mother was a successful country songwriter.
