The Real Thing is a British soul group formed in Liverpool in the early 1970s. They're best known for their 1976 hit single "You to Me Are Everything," which topped the UK Singles Chart and remains a classic of British soul. The band combined smooth vocal harmonies with funky and soulful instrumentation. Other popular tracks include "Can't Get By Without You" and "Can You Feel the Force?" The group was one of the first all-Black British bands to achieve major chart success.
