Mohiner Ghoraguli was a pioneering Bengali rock band from India, active primarily during the late 1970s. Formed in Kolkata, they are often considered the first Bengali rock band and one of the earliest in India to experiment with a fusion of rock, folk, jazz, and traditional Bengali music. Their lyrics often explored themes of urban life, social issues, and introspection. Though initially not very popular, their work gained cult status over time, influencing generations of musicians and earning them a legendary place in the Bengali music scene.
