Hüsker Dü was an influential American punk rock band from Saint Paul, Minnesota, active from 1979 to 1988. Known for blending hardcore punk with melodic songwriting, they played a key role in the evolution of alternative rock. The band was a trio, consisting of Bob Mould (guitar, vocals), Grant Hart (drums, vocals), and Greg Norton (bass). Their raw energy, emotional depth, and DIY ethic left a lasting impact on the indie and punk scenes, inspiring countless bands that followed.
