Glenn Frey was an American singer, songwriter, and founding member of the rock band Eagles. Born on November 6, 1948, he played guitar, sang lead vocals on many of the band's biggest hits, and co-wrote classics like "Hotel California," "Take It Easy," and "Lyin' Eyes." After the Eagles disbanded in 1980, Frey had a successful solo career with hits like "The Heat Is On" and "You Belong to the City." He passed away in 2016, but remains a key figure in American rock history.
