Frédéric Chopin was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic era, known for his poetic and expressive music. Born in 1810 near Warsaw, he spent much of his adult life in Paris, where he gained fame for his piano compositions and performances. Chopin's music is celebrated for its emotional depth, technical brilliance, and lyrical beauty, particularly in his works for solo piano. He died in 1849 at the age of 39, leaving a lasting legacy as one of the greatest composers for the piano.
