Eurythmics was a British pop duo formed in 1980 by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. They became internationally famous in the 1980s with their unique blend of synth-pop, new wave, and soul influences. Their biggest hit, "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", released in 1983, became an iconic song of the decade. Lennox's striking voice and androgynous style, paired with Stewart's innovative production, helped define their sound and image. The duo released several successful albums before taking a break in the 1990s, later reuniting for occasional projects. Eurythmics are considered one of the most influential acts of their era.
