Dianne Reeves is an American jazz singer known for her rich, expressive voice and exceptional vocal improvisation skills. Born on October 23, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, she rose to fame in the 1980s and has since become one of the most respected jazz vocalists of her generation. Reeves blends jazz with elements of R&B, Latin, and pop, and has won five Grammy Awards, including several for Best Jazz Vocal Album. She is also known for her work on the soundtrack of the film Good Night, and Good Luck (2005).
