Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY) was an American folk rock supergroup formed by David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash, later joined by Neil Young. Known for their rich vocal harmonies, political activism, and influence on 1960s–70s counterculture, the group blended folk, rock, and pop elements. Each member had a successful solo career and came from other prominent bands—The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies. CSNY often reunited for tours and albums, though their collaborations were marked by personal tensions and intermittent activity. They remain iconic figures in classic rock history.
