Aztec Camera was a Scottish pop/rock band formed in 1980, led by singer-songwriter Roddy Frame. Known for their melodic guitar work and introspective lyrics, the group blended elements of indie pop, new wave, and folk. Although it started as a band, Aztec Camera essentially became a solo project for Frame over time. The project gained critical and commercial success in the 1980s and early 1990s, becoming a key part of the UK alternative music scene.
