It was one of the songs that I wanted to play when I started to play guitar, but for a beginner that G7 can be ugly, but once you get that down the rest is pretty easy. The nice thing about this song for a beginner is that it can be played as slow as you want and still sounds great. People will think that you are playing slow to capture the emotions in the song. At least that's what I tell them. Play to make your self happy and then everything sounds good. I first heard this song in a episode of the Rockford Files (Season 5-Ep 1), so you know it has to be good. (I got most of this version from Classic-country-song-lyrics.com)
GStarted out with the G7dreams And the Cplans of a Gwise man And ended Cup with the D7heartaches of a Gfool
