Track #1 on the White Stripes New CD elephant-Kick ass
First song I've heard by Jack White thats in Baritone or "7-string" standard tuning.
tuning is BEADGB
Intro and Verses: (sounds like a Bass huh')
Method 1:(Sounds more like what Jack plays)

A|+|---7---7/10--7--5--3/7--3--2----------------------
E|+|-------------------------------repeat both twice--
B|+|--------------------------------------------------
After the second time you'll want to play the bridge part
again and then go back to the intro/verse lick
Solo:
Jack dubbed the solo over the main riff and the verse lick
so I'll show the Main riff above the solo for timing.
b|+|--------------------------------------------------
G|+|---9---9/12--9--7--5---4--------------------------
D|+|---9---9/12--9--7--5---4--------------------------

D|+|--------------------------------------------------
A|+|--------------------------------------------------
E|+|---0----------------------------------------------
B|+|--------------------------------------------------
these parts are played twice
On the second part of the solo the timin' and rhythm are
the same as the main riff, so I'll just tab the solo.
b|+|---/17--17--19--17--19/20~~--19~~-----------------
G|+|--------------------------------------------------
D|+|--------------------------------------------------
A|+|--------------------------------------------------

G|+|--------------------------------------------------
D|+|--------------------------------------------------
A|+|--------------------------------------------------
E|+|--------------------------------------------------
B|+|--------------------------------------------------
the third and fourth bars of this solo are just
basically variations on these licks.
Well, there it is. A perfect example of how a simple song can still kick ass.
Sorry if its really incorrect, ESPECIALLY the solo, but I was writing this
on a friggin 10 yr old acoustic with no 3rd string and no intonation. Please email
me if you have any corrections or suggestions cuz I wanna learn this song too.
