Tuning: E A D G B E
Use Voltaire's tuning! D G C F A D
Well, it's really an easy song with easy chords and strummming patter (It is called "the six" in Russia, not
sure about others countries, but there are tutorials on Youtube, in case you can't figure it out)
I use only D D U U D U pattern and DUD DUD DUD after the second verse, some pauses if needed and strange pattern
after every verse, so I can't help you with that:D Experiment!:D
And Enjoy!
AmLo! 't is a gala night
CWithin the lonesome lEmatter years!
AmAn angel throng, bewinged, bedight
CIn veils, and dEmrowned in tears,
AmSit in a theatre, to see
CA play of hEmopes and fears,
AmWhile the orchestra breathes fitfully
CThe music of the sEmpheres.
AmMimes, in the form of God on high,
CMutter and mEmumble low,
AmAnd hither and thither fly -
Mere Cpuppets they, who Emcome and go
AmAt bidding of vast formless things
ThatC shift the scenery Emto and fro,
AmFlapping from out their Condor wings
C InEmvisible Wo!
Bridge or whatever - Dm Am C Em
AmThat motley drama - oh, be sure
CIt shall not Embe forgot!
AmWith its Phantom chased for evermore
By a cCrowd that sEmeize it not,
AmThrough a circle that ever returneth Cin
To the sEmelf - same spot,
AndDm much of Madness, and Ammore of Sin,
And HCorrorEm the soul of the plDmot.
(I start playing bridge on the "plot")
Dm Am C Em
AmBut see, amid the mimic rout,
A Ccrawling sEmhape intrude!
A Amblood-red thing that writhes from out
The sCcenic sEmolitude!
It wAmrithes! - it writhes! - with mortal pangs
The Cmimes beEmcome its food,
AnAmd seraphs sob at vermin fangs
In huCman gore imbEmued.
Dm Am C Em
AmOut - out are the lights - out all!
And, Cover each qEmuivering form,
The Amcurtain, a funeral pall,
Comes Cdown with the rEmush of a storm,
WAmhile the angels, all pallid and wan,
UpCrising, unveEmiling, affirm
That the Amplay is the tragedy, "Man,"
And its hCero,Em the Conqueror WDmorm.
(Again, the bridge)
Dm Am C Em
