Van Halen Dreams I always thought of this song as kind of having two choruses; the "higher and higher" part, and then the "that's what dreams are made of" part. But the intro is essentially the same part/chord progression as the 2nd 'chorus', so to avoid confusion I have called that the |A| section, then that will repeat later with vocals (also used for Solo II). Eddie Van Halen uses a lot of different triads played against different bass notes to create various chords with extensions or suspensions. I have given the overall chord names taking into account the synth and guitar/bass parts. Feel free to simplify it, but in order to include the melodies you will need all the chord variations, e.g. Csus4 to C to Csus2.
