Clarification:
Chordname (E A D G B E)
X = Don't play / Muffle
Information:
- On the studioversion he plays the first versions of Gmaj7/C and G/C, but live he often play the
second instead, probably because it's a more strenuous fingering pressing down the additional note
- If you want a scaled down sound you can see on the live versions that he often play many chords
muting/muffling the string below the bassnote, for example G (3 2 0 0 3 3) turn into (3 X 0 0 3 3),
the chords he never does this on is the bar chords (Cm and B7) plus D, Dsus4 and Em7
- The G/C* means he plays around with Gmaj7/C and G/C plus two more shapes, simply put he just
changes the note on the high E-string doing various melodys using fret 0, 2, 3 and 5; but you
can also just skip it and stay on G/C if you wanna simplify
- If anyone is really interested in knowing exactly in which order he plays on the various G/C*
parts, just leave a comment asking nicely and I can find a way to add/show it later on
