[Chorus Repeats] (Notes: Strum the 1st pattern (Downstrokes on 1 2 3 4) then the 2nd one, alternating between them. The second Pattern will always be at the end of the verse. When playing the G A chord section i sometimes alternate between the order of these two chords which is shown in the Chord arrangement near the bottom. This arrangement has a country feel to it, especially comparing to the original. The Dynamics can be changed when strumming the E minor chord to build tension, for example while playing this song i may fully hold the notes of the E minor chord throughout an entire 2 bars, Or i may strum and loosen my grip on the fretboard to give it more of a "stacotto" feel. The Chords at the end of each verse will release the Tension built by your E minor Chord throughout the Verse When playing the section labeled "Chorus" I like to try and sustain the bass note of the E because the melody feels thin by itself. I based this arrangement off of the assumption that the melody is using an A mixolydian Scale, which implies the song is in the Key of D, although when looking at the chords and scales in the original it seems like he may have written the song in the Key of A and used a Flat 7th in the melody. The reason that i wrote it in the Key of D was because in the Key of A there's a major 5th (E Major Chord) and the original arrangment emphasizes E Minor with the E Power Chord that is palm muted giving it more of an E Minor feel. This was my reason for using the D major chord to E major chord slide (rather than sliding into an E minor Chord). Not only did it sound better to me, it's much easier to play that way, and makes the song feel like it's shifted into the Key of A for a brief moment!) This is my First Tab I've ever submitted, I know the formatting is bad but I wanted to share my arrangement! ************************************ | / Slide up | ~ Vibrato ************************************
