Thought this needed putting up, one of the best songs of all time. There's a middle eight/lead break which I haven't worked out, but there's enough here to strum and sing to. Verse is just the E chord, live Mr McNabb plays the little melody riff over the bass.
EMy friend and I, were talking one evening, Beside some burning wood, Trading tales of places we came upon, When the times were good,
ESpoke of a girl he viewed like no other, Whom he had come to know, I swallowed hard and listened intently, Resigned beside the glow
CAlways there, it's standing proudly, AmWhen all else falls down, CIt's all around you, didn't it find you, When you Amsaid you couldn't be found,
EWhen love calls me, I will be F#mrunning swiftly, To find out, Bjust what all theG#m fuss is allC#m about, EUnrelentless, deep in the F#mstrangest feelings, Believe me, BLove is full of G#mwonderful C#mcolours
I insist that you pick the wrong one, To preach your theories to, Simmer down, we'll run for a reason, To see what faith can do, Love is a beacon, on the horizon, Watch when you touch down, Reality finds you fumbling for reasons, When the chance comes 'round When love calls me, I will be running swiftly, To find out, just what all the fuss is all about, Unrelentless, deep in the strangest feelings, Believe me, Love is full of wonderful colour
ETake my confidence to guide you, F#mThrough the fallen hope inside you, BLove is full of G#mwonderful C#mcolour
Take my confidence to guide you, Through the fallen hope inside you, Love is full of wonderful colour --- written by MCNABB, IAN
