Can you not Csee what you've Emdone?
You Fgave your heart aGway like that.
I didn't Cwant to fall in Emlove,
with Fanyone but you, Gdear.
I can still Chear the Emsong,
the mFelody beGhind the kiss,
you Cgave me, you were Emwrong,
I was Fright so I walked aGway,
and left you Cthere, aEmlone,
I gFot so tired of Gtalking on the
CteleEmphone,
how Fmany times would we Gsay the words, "Good bye?"
RIFF*
I made Cmistakes, and Emone,
was tFelling you that GI'd be there when
Ctelling time (?) had Emcome,
I Fshould have said I didn'tG care.
All the Ctime I would have Emsaved,
If FI had been less Gwilling
to acCcommEmodate,
you'd Fbeen a littlGe less likely to cry.
RIFF*
AmYou go back to the Ghigh life,
and AmI'll go back to the Glow.
FI should have known,
GBut now I know.
There'll be no Cword from Emyou,
desFcribing how it Gfelt to go through
Cwhat I put you Emthrough
It aFll makes perfect Gsense
the way you Ccut the Emrope
that Fkept you dangling Gfrom such
pitifCul amounts of Emhope,
FI would have cut it, Gtoo.

I'm not much of a tab reader, I go by chords and embellish off of them. Hold the C chord
down, then pluck the A string (third fret) twice, followed by the D (second fret) once,
then the open G string, then G string, second fret (with your middle finger). Then do
the same thing in reverse, adding an optional pull-of on the D string.
End on C.
