Staind, Outside. Tabbed by Greg Buchak,gbuchak@excite.com. Outside by staind Tabbed by greg Buchak July/19/01 everybody's been getting this really wrong and I'm pretty sure this is how it really goes. The rhythm is hard to express without using real notes but try to understand my weird way of doing it Chords: This song is basically power chords with open stings added. Its really easy to play once you know what chords they are. I will call the chords what they really are, but for your purposes, they are just power chords. E5: 0 0 9 9 7 0 D9+13: 0 0 7 7 5 0 G13: 0 0 0 5 5 3 A/Esus2: 0 0 2 2 0 0 (people have called this chord many different things- it is sort of an A9 but to be exact it is an Asus2 (3rd scale degree is changed to 2nd) with an E in the bass: A/Esus2) (did u know that if u play the 6 open stings your playing a Em7+4' It can also be named as a GM/Esus2+6 and many other things.) This is a little confusing so try to do your best with it. (number = beats, + = half beat) H = hit (there are no rests, all notes are kept going until a new hit E5 D9+13 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + H H H H H H H H G13 A/Esus2 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 H H H H H H H H Didn't quite catch that' Oh well the chord progression is E5, D9+13, G13, and A/Esus2. enjoy
