The bassist is doing some kind of weird harmony with the guitars, combing through live
videos and listening
closely to the recording, this is what I figured out for the main riff, 100% sure it's correct.
He is playing the same rhythm as the guitars though

There actually is pattern for the note in parenthesis. First two times the riff is played, the extra note
isn't played, then the extra note is played once, then the riff is played without it again twice, then
the riff is played with it twice, and the whole pattern then repeats. Also, let the final low D ring out

Breakdown
The bassist is only doing continuous eighth notes during the breakdown (no, he is not
doing the same rhythm
as the guitars, listen closely), but it's a bit hard to keep the timing down.
I keep track of where I am by breaking up the eighth notes into groups of three, then
count through each group
of threes as I play. You'll see below.
