Capo: 3
This is a very good song, I looked it up hoping to find chords for it but none of
the pages really fit. I started where everyone agreed, the capo on the 3rd fret.
After I just messed around until I found what I hope is similar to the track.
Capo 3
*Note* This is not the tabbed versio it is just the basic just of chords. But to
make it sound more like the recording, you can strum the bass strings (E and maybe
A) at the begining of each chord. (except for Cadd9)Good Luck!
D D* G Cadd9 x : muted or string that is not played.
e--2-----2/3----3------3--|
B--3-----3------3------3--|
G--2-----0------0------0--|
D--0-----0------0------2--|
A--x-----x------2------3--|
E--x-----x------3------0--|
NOTE: Even though the E and A strings aren't played during the actual chords of
D and D* you can play them for the bass notes when you have that first down beat
of a chords D, D*, and G
INTRO
D D* G Cadd9
D Yes I will rise
D*
Out of these ashes rise
From this Gtrouble I have found
And this Cadd9rubble on the ground
I will Drise
REPEAT x2
D D*
Cause He Who is in me
Is Ggreater than I will Cadd9ever be
And I will Drise
D D*
Sometimes my heart is on the ground
And Ghope is Cadd9nowhere to be fDound
D D*
Love is a figment I once knew
And yet I Ghold on to Cadd9what I know is Dtrue
*CHORUS*
(Same as "sometimes my heart...")
Well I keep on coming to this place
That I don't know quite how to face
So I lay down my life in hopes to die
That somehow I might rise
*CHORUS once more*
