Tuning:
Seven Mary Three
Cumbersome
This tab is almost 100% correct. The only part that I’m unsure of is the riff before the end of the last chorus. I got to see these guys live and I watched every move he made.
(Verse/Bass Solo)
G ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D -----------------------------2—2-2—2-2-2-2—4-2-0--------------------------------------
A -----------------------2-4----------------------------------4-2—2-2—2-2-2-2—4-2-0-----
E 2—2—2-2-2—2-4------------------------------------------------------------------------4-2
(Chorus) “I have become…. Cumbersome….”
G ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E 0h2—2-2-2—2-2—5—5-5-5-5-5-5---12-12—12—12-12-12-12-14-14-14-14-14-14
*play this same line during the “too heavy too light” part*
(Post-Chorus) “No no… No, yeah”
G ---------------------------------------
D ---------------------------------------
A -------------------------------------- (repeat)
E 5-5—2—2-2—0-0—2—2-2-2-2
(Bass Fill at the end of second chorus) *this is at least the way I do this part*
G ------------------------------------------------------------------
D -----------------16-14-16--14—16-14-----------------------
A --------14-16-----------------------------16—14-------------
E 14-16------------------------------------------------16-14-/2—
That’s it! It’s a pretty kick-ass song with a really good, simple bass line. This is my first tab so please rate.
