Sailor The Girls of Amsterdam. By Marcel Veltman This curious British Popband made it to the top of the charts in the 1970's with cute songs like 'Traffic Jam' 'In the streets' and 'Sailor'. Beside that, they were among the first ever to use a synthesizer in popular light music, long before there were Simple Minds, Petshop Boys and portable Rolands.
