Tuning:
I noticed that someone had put up a tab for this song for the acoustic guitar finger picking
but the bass/root note part was incorrect. I have spoken with Hugh McDonald, the guitarist from
Redgum and he showed me that there has to be alternating bass notes with the thumb while the
fingers do the rest.

And that's basically the pattern. The chorus is the same, hit the alternating bass notes
with your thumb. The chorus chords are E, D, A, E, D, A, F#m, E, D, A, E, D.
I thing the original was recorded without a capo but a more recent version by John Schumann
and the Vagabond crew had a capo on the 3rd fret.
