Larry turns on delay and does a couple of different techniques. For the first part of the bridge, he does pick slides on the lower strings and also picks the strings behind the nut while also using the whammy bar to raise and lower the pitch. Then when Les starts singing, "Keep on sniffing 'til your brain goes pop," he does hammer-ons and pull-offs on the G string on the lower frets while placing his right hand on the strings like he's palm-muting and sliding it down and up to get harmonics.
