This is Paul Weller's cover of a Gordon Lightfoot song. It could have ended in tears of the very wrong kind. But no. Weller makes a marvellous job of it. Eight great verses. Standard tuning. The most difficult part is to get a nice lilting rhythm on it, including the little roll on and off the E major to Esus4 at the end of each alternate line.
