Parousia (2001) – Wounded Hands Parousia was a Singapore band in the late 90s and early 2000s led by Lloyd Chia. The band was plugged into the local Christian gigging scene. Many years after I heard this song, and I can’t even remember whether it was on the radio, or played in a church service, it was still an earworm for me. After searching online for some of the lyrics, I managed to get in touch with Lloyd on Facebook and discovered he is now a Sociology professor in the US. His bio indicates that he grew up as a “rebellious” pastor’s kid.
