I rewrote the chords as I best heard them from the actual Owl City song but in a
key. They have basic inspiration drawn from version 1
it already having been posted on here. Although far from perfect this version has a few
most notably the timing for when to play the chords. Also this is intended as a
friendly version (standard
but should work on guitar just fine. Jam with your uke friends! Yay!

Hot Air Balloon by Owl City
We wrote a Cprelude
To our oFwn fairy Gtale
And bought a pCarachute
At a cFhurch rummage Gsale
And with a Cmean sewing Ammachine
And Fmiles of Gthread
We sewed the Cday above LAm.A.
In Fnavy and Gred
We wound a Crace track
Through your Fmom's kitchen cGhairs
And fought the Cshadows back
Down your dFark basement sGtairs
I lit a mCatch, then let it Amcatch
To lFight up the Groom
And then you Cyelled as we beAmheld
An oFld maroon hot air Cballoon
*CHORUS*:
CI'll be out of my miGnd
And yAmou'll be out of idFeas
Pretty Csoon
So let's sGpend
The aAmfternoon in a Fcold hot air bal-
-Ceave your jacket behiGnd
Lean Amout and touch the Ftreetops over tCown
I can't wGait
To kAmiss the ground
WhereFver we touch back dCown
AmLa la la lFaa lCaaa la-ah-la-
-Amah la la lFaa laCaa
We drank the CGreat Lakes
Like cFold lemonGade
And both got sCtomach aches
Sprawled oFut in the shGade
So bored to dCeath you held your Ambreath
And I tFried not to Gyawn
You made my fCrown turn upside Amdown
And now my wForries are gGone
*CHORUS* (x2):
CI'll be out of my miGnd
And yAmou'll be out of Fideas
Pretty Csoon
So let's sGpend
The aAmfternoon in a Fcold hot air bal-
-Ceave your jacket behiGnd
Lean Amout and touch the Ftreetops over tCown
I can't wGait
To kAmiss the ground
WhereFver we touch back dCown
