Tuning: E A D G B E
Notated by: tagwolf Reference Video: https://youtu.be/c0rwI7qWF9k?t=2118 NOTE: I notated everything from scratch as no tabs or chords currently exist. I am almost positive the foundation is correct. I am still working out the acoustic solo tab from them playing live on Criag Fergusen's show back in 2011. Which is difficult because of how strong their backing track is. As much as I love OK Go. Their lead singer on guitar is really sloppy so be ready for lots of alternate patterns. TUNING STANDARD EADGBE (Although I've heard them play 1/2 step lowered.) Bridge to Ending ---------------- (Picking, then strumming, see notes) The left hand is correct. Picking is mostly a pattern of the following strings using the chords below: (1 = low E) STRING PICKING ORDER EXAMPLE, NOT FRETS: (Also, he occasionally uses strings 5 and 6 played open to augment string 1's bass) But basically he's doing this sort of pattern. Watch the video linked at the top to see what I mean. 1+6, 3,4,5, 3+5, 2,4,5. (Thumb jumps between 1 and 3.) (Honestly, as long as your left hand is correct, it'll sound good.) Honestly, as long as your left hand is correct, it'll sound good with pretty basic picking walking up and down. Just pick the top two strings alternating as filler and play your low string each quarter note (beat).
