Holdin On to Black Metal - My Morning Jacket
Tabbed by: Lucke
Tuning: Standard
Entire song is pretty much based around the A minor pentatonic.
This is how Carl Broemel chooses to play it. Such a groovy riff! Best way to practice is by playing along
to the song!

Jim's solo is pretty much a few notes within the A minor pentatonic same as the riff! I confess that the
accuracy of the solo is not 100% and advise you improvise or play around the A minor pentatonic while listening
to the song! I am also aware that he doesn't play the notes in the same position as I am tabbing, however its
how I prefer to fret the scale ;)

After the solo we have some power chord runs. Play each power chord 4 times quickly once you get to 911.

E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Return to the RIFF for as many times as need be, then near the end there is some more leads going on,
Again I advise playing around with what you already know since its pretty fun to do some improvised licks over!
Peace out!
