After “Variation 1”, switch endings of “Variation 2”, by letting the last D (12th fret) ring into the fourth measure this time. ***The slide in the fourth measure starts off at E (9th fret), and then quickly slides up to G (12th fret). I would have simply put it in the tab, but for the sake of cleanliness and no room to add it, i left it off. ****Play @ 5:04. Stop playing @ 5:10, where the outro finishes off the rest of the track. As far as the tone I sought after, I am using a Peavey Tour TKO 115 (EQ turned to whatever you prefer). The big game changer in this tone was my Warwick Corvette Std, tone and volume at max, and blending knob kranked at the bridge pickup. This is a song with a lot of high end.
